Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead our front-of-house team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our cafe(s) - as we will be opening a second location in the near future.  The ideal candidate is passionate about food, customer service, and team leadership. As a Café Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and reputation of Eva’s Little Kitchen, ensuring our guests receive an exceptional experience every time they visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and manage café staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Customer Service: Ensure all guests receive outstanding hospitality; handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the café, including inventory management, food safety, administrative tasks, and quality control.

  • Menu & Product Management: Collaborate with our culinary team to introduce new menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings - using guest feedback.

  • Cleanliness & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-3 years of café/restaurant management experience is strongly recommended.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a team.

  • Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional multitasking, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Passion for Food: A genuine love for food, hospitality, and community engagement.

  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
